Physician Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator

About the role

The University of Miami seeks a Physician Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to support the recruitment lifecycle for physicians across UHealth departments. This full‑time position acts as a liaison between recruitment leadership, clinical teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Post physician openings in the applicant tracking system and manage candidate disposition.
• Coordinate interview visits, including travel, lodging, meals, itineraries for candidates and spouses.
• Oversee background checks, health screenings, credentialing, privileging and other onboarding steps.
• Assemble offer letter packets, ensure signatures and manage relocation services when needed.
• Maintain recruitment records, generate reports and process related invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment, HR or related administrative support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and basic HR technology.
