Physician Practice Manager – Multispecialty Clinic

About the role

Mercy Medical Center is seeking an experienced Physician Practice Manager to lead the operations of its multispecialty clinic. The role combines strong financial acumen with leadership to ensure high‑quality patient care while optimizing clinic performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the multispecialty clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance patient care, optimize resources, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
• Monitor and evaluate clinic performance, implementing strategies to improve productivity, patient satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to align practice goals and drive clinical excellence.
• Develop and manage the clinic’s annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maximizing revenue.
• Analyze financial metrics, implement cost‑saving measures, and maintain high‑quality patient care.
• Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to address complex operational challenges.
• Prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2–5 years of practice management experience.
• 3–5 years of medical office experience preferred.
• Proven experience in practice management, preferably in a multispecialty setting.
• Strong financial and analytical abilities.

• EPIC (experience preferred)
