About the role
Ochsner Health in Bay St Louis, Mississippi is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Internal Medicine physician to join its hospitalist team on a full‑time day‑shift basis. The role involves delivering inpatient care within a stable 50‑plus member group and collaborating with dedicated nocturnists and an E‑ICU intensivist support network.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a daily census of 12‑14 hospitalized patients.
- Perform ICU rounding and coordinate care with E‑ICU intensivists.
- Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
Required profile
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Availability for full‑time day‑shift work.
- Willingness to work a 7‑on‑7‑off block schedule with flexibility.
