Physical Therapy Tech PRN

About the role

The Physical Therapy Tech (PRN) supports licensed physical therapists in delivering patient care on an as‑needed basis at Star Coppell. The role involves preparing treatment areas, assisting with therapy sessions, and ensuring a clean, organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the PT with daily patient therapy treatments using certified or on‑the‑job trained techniques.
• Maintain linen supply, organize equipment and supplies, and keep the department orderly.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and physicians.
• Monitor inventory, report reorder needs and equipment repairs to the supervisor.
• Participate in educational in‑service activities and ensure a safe, clean facility.
• Support clinical business office tasks as requested.

Required profile

• Patient Care Technician certification or completion of PCYT/CAN programs.
• Minimum six months patient‑care experience.
• Current CPR certification (recommended).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational ability to document billing information accurately.
