Physical Therapy Assistant – Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide per‑diem home health visits for adult and geriatric patients throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. The role involves delivering treatment, conducting tests, and educating clients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Key responsibilities

• Perform home health visits, assessing and treating patients in their residences.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate clients and caregivers on exercise programs, safety, and equipment use.

Required profile

• Current licensure or certification as a PTA in the state of Maryland.
• Graduated from an APTA‑approved two‑year PTA program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of PTA work experience under a qualified Physical Therapist.

Required skills

• Home health experience with adult and geriatric populations.
• Ability to travel throughout Bethesda and Montgomery County for patient visits.
