Physical Therapist – Outpatient PRN Role

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Martin Health South team in an outpatient setting. This PRN position works Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends, providing patient‑first care and supporting recovery through therapeutic interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
• Interpret physician plans, supervise patient treatments, and ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Review patient response to treatment and make recommendations to physicians.
• Document each patient visit according to departmental policies.
• Maintain equipment, manage supplies economically, and handle appropriate billing.
• Assist in on‑the‑job training of ancillary personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate from an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program (or equivalent international degree).
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Internship experience and ability to follow standard precautions with personal protective equipment.
