About the role

The Pharmacy Technician – Ambulatory supports a high‑volume outpatient pharmacy at Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center, processing 500–800 prescriptions daily. The role involves filling prescriptions, answering phones, assisting patients at the front counter, and maintaining workflow across multiple stations.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense prescription orders accurately.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale cash register system.
  • Maintain inventory, monitor reorder points, and restock prescription and non‑prescription areas.
  • Assist with extemporaneous and bulk compounding of medications.
  • Provide multi‑pharmacy support as needed.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA at hire.
  • Active registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (Certified, Registered, or Trainee).
  • Ability to stand, lift up to 20 lb, and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

  • Point‑of‑sale cash register operation.
  • Inventory management and reorder monitoring.
  • Basic compounding techniques.
