Pharmacy Manager - Sign On, Relocation Available

About the role

Meijer is looking for a Pharmacy Manager for its Danville, IL store. The manager plans, directs and supervises the day-to-day pharmacy operations, from staffing and prescription filling to clinical services and patient safety. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates, and the position is eligible for a quarterly incentive package of up to 10%.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise pharmacy operations, including technician hiring, scheduling and staff training
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately
• Prepare and conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians, document and apply disciplinary actions
• Implement pharmacy programs covering financial results, clinical services, labor, inventory, stock loss, security, patient services and profitability
• Educate and mentor pharmacists and technicians, motivate the team and hold members accountable for results
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations, where allowed

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist in the State of Illinois
• Bachelor's degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
• Registered pharmacist in the state of practice
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
• CPR certification
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice; 1 year of management experience preferred
• Knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies and procedures, and state regulations
