Pharmacist - Sign-On, Relocation Eligible

About the role

Meijer is hiring a Pharmacist for its Appleton, Wisconsin store location. The position is sign-on and relocation eligible, and both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. As pharmacist, you ensure patients receive the medication and care they need, practicing in an environment that promotes patient care and education, including consultations and immunizations.

Key responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians, hold them accountable for results and help grow the pharmacy business.
• Resolve patient needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Be competent in Meijer policies and procedures and in state and federal pharmacy laws.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, run pharmacy operations.
• Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations, where allowed.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed pharmacist in the state of practice (Wisconsin).
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/community practice experience.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies and procedures.
• Understanding of regulations in the state where the pharmacy operates.
• Organization and prioritization skills.
