Pharmacist – Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy

About the role

We are a closed‑door Long‑Term Care pharmacy serving assisted‑living facilities in Los Angeles. We seek an experienced pharmacist to lead medication dispensing, ensure regulatory compliance, and support our clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee dispensing of medications for LTC patients in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure accuracy in prescription processing, medication management, and record‑keeping.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to optimize patient care and conduct medication reconciliation during transitions of care.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
• Manage inventory, quality‑assurance programs, and compliance with pharmacy policies.
• Handle audits, inspections, licensing requirements, and serve as primary contact for regulatory agencies.

Required profile

• Active California pharmacist license in good standing.
• Experience working in a closed‑door LTC pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of regulations affecting LTC pharmacy operations.
• Leadership ability to manage workflow and staff.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with FrameworkLTC software (highly preferred).
