About the role

Empower Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for its 3rd shift dispensing team. As the final clinical authority, you will verify, release, and safeguard compounded medications that serve thousands of patients daily in a high‑growth 503A/503B environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform final verification of compounded prescriptions, ensuring accurate dosing, labeling, allergy checks, and interaction screening.
• Evaluate therapeutic appropriateness, identify formulation risks, and communicate with prescribers for clarifications.
• Maintain compliance with FDA 503A and 503B regulations and internal quality standards.
• Mentor and guide pharmacy technicians, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Utilize AI‑enabled verification tools and automation systems to enhance accuracy and throughput.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in compounding pharmacy operations.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to make decisive safety‑related decisions.
• Familiarity with FDA 503A/503B regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with prescribers and team members.
