Pharmacist – Day & Night Shift with $20k Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to work both day and night shifts in our Lake Charles pharmacy. The role involves direct patient interaction, medication dispensing, and collaboration with healthcare providers while offering a competitive compensation package.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications.
• Review and interpret prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Monitor for potential drug interactions and contraindications.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on patient care plans.
• Manage medication inventory, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Support emergency medication needs as required.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmacy law.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Preferred: experience in compounding, clinical or hospital pharmacy, and familiarity with EHR and pharmacy management systems.
• Board certification (e.g., BCPS, BCGP) and BLS/ACLS certification are a plus.
