Personal Care Aide

About the role

Central Star Home Health is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides to provide in‑home support for patients across several states. You will assist clients with daily living activities, ensure a safe environment, and help maintain their independence according to individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation and toileting.
• Perform household tasks such as making beds, changing linens, laundry and light housekeeping.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, and shop for groceries and essential supplies.
• Accompany patients to medical appointments when approved by the RN supervisor.
• Document care daily and submit required paperwork on a weekly basis.
• Provide additional support as needed, including any duties assigned by supervisory staff.

Required profile

• Successful completion of a Personal Care Aide training program or an equivalent exam with written proof.
• Previous experience in a home‑care setting is preferred.
• Mature, emotionally stable and sympathetic toward patients with medical needs.
