Personal Care Aide – In‑Home Care

About the role

Join BAYADA as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care, household support, and companionship to adults living at home in the Tampa area. You will follow a nurse‑written care plan and help clients stay safe, independent, and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and meal preparation.
• Support mobility with transfers and mechanical lifting devices, and encourage range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Offer medication reminders and basic health monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of work experience in caregiving or related field.
• Current HHA certificate (40‑hour course) or CNA license, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Valid BLS‑Certified CPR from an approved organization.
• Successful Level II background check as required by Florida regulations.

Required skills

• Home Health Aide certification or CNA licensure.
• BLS‑Certified CPR.
