Peristeen Coordinator

About the role

To service customers via inbound and outbound calls, introduce new customers to products and services, handle new patient enrollment and repeat order opportunities in a courteous, professional manner. The coordinator also processes referrals from healthcare professionals into the Comfort Medical database for order confirmation and shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Process leads from external departments and complete necessary documentation in the CM database.
• Conduct inbound and outbound telephone calls in response to referrals and customer inquiries.
• Organize and update customer records, validating and loading information into the database.
• Verify medical insurance benefits for new, existing, and reactivated patients and document summaries.
• Review medical records for missing documentation, ensure proper physician orders and signatures, and file corrected documents.
• Research and resolve order issues by communicating with healthcare providers and insurers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DME experience and at least one year of contact‑center experience.
• Willingness to engage in telephone direct sales and work independently.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Ability to follow complex instructions, prioritize work, and maintain composure under stress.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Computer systems navigation.
• Fast and accurate typing.
