Performance Improvement Coordinator RN (Full Time)

About the role

The Performance Improvement Coordinator RN partners with department managers and committees to identify, trend, and resolve clinical quality issues. This full‑time position supports accreditation, survey processes, and specialty certification programs while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct report analysis on occurrences, outcomes and other quality indicators.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations to performance‑improvement initiatives through committee participation.
• Deliver education on clinical patient safety, statistical analysis and performance improvement.
• Act as a resource for regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission mock surveys and ongoing readiness.
• Participate in risk management by identifying, trending and following up on clinical issues.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of acute‑care RN experience; 5 years preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software and web‑based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication for presenting information to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards and quality‑management principles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and on‑call availability.
