Per Diem Staff Physician – OBGYN & Maternal Fetal Medicine

About the role

The University of Miami seeks a Per Diem Staff Physician to join the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences. You will serve as an attending physician in the Maternal Fetal Medicine division, providing expert care for high‑risk obstetric patients.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to inpatient obstetric units at Jackson Holtz Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
• Provide comprehensive high‑risk pregnancy management alongside multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in OB/GYN.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing medical, psychological, and sociocultural factors.
• Perform physical assessments, prescribe medications, and document patient information accurately.
• Report quality‑assurance incidents and maintain compliance with university policies.

Required profile

• MD or DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Board Eligible or Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Active Florida medical license and DEA registration.
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience.
