About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to work in the Intermediate Care Unit. This position provides flexible, intermittent coverage while delivering patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients and families in the Intermediate Care Unit.
- Apply evidence‑based standards of safety, quality, and service.
- Deliver culturally competent care tailored to diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum two years of acute Intensive Care Nursing experience.
- Associates degree RN must complete BSN within two years of hire.
