About the role

The Department of Executive Medicine at UHealth Palm Beach is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients, ensuring high‑quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Operate radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Review and evaluate images for diagnostic adequacy.
• Record accurate patient medical histories and prepare patients for procedures.
• Position and immobilize patients, adjust equipment settings, and monitor patient safety.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on radiographic equipment.
• Enter patient information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Assist providers during examinations and travel between sites as needed.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
• Current Florida Basic X‑Ray Machine Operator (BXMO) or Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EKG certification (preferred Medical Assistant certification).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant radiology experience.
