Per Diem Pharmacy Technician – Doral

About the role

UHealth Doral is seeking a per diem Pharmacy Technician to compound and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, manage inventory, and perform clerical duties.

Key responsibilities

• Weigh, count, measure, and mix medications accurately.
• Receive, fill, and verify written prescriptions and refill requests.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, receive and store supplies, and verify stock levels.
• Operate and monitor robotic dispensing machines.
• Prepare medication containers, label bottles, and transfer medication using aseptic techniques.
• Answer telephone inquiries and assist customers with simple questions.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles and records.
• Process medical insurance claim forms and maintain claim records.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
