About the role

The Per Diem Nursing Instructor provides teaching and learning experiences in clinical settings for nursing students. This part‑time position involves guiding students through clinical assignments, facilitating classroom labs, and ensuring alignment with course objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clinical experiences in accordance with course objectives and utilize appropriate instructional modalities.
• Teach and supervise students in clinical experiences and classroom labs, conducting pre‑ and post‑conferences to enhance learning.
• Develop and assign clinical tasks that correlate theory with practice, maintain progress reports, and communicate student performance.
• Participate in faculty meetings, orientation sessions, and school functions as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to perform clinical/technical tasks and supervise student learning.
• Knowledge of age‑specific patient needs across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations.
• Adherence to confidentiality, compliance policies, and institutional standards.
• Commitment to professional development, regulatory requirements, and continuous self‑evaluation.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, faculty, and staff, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
