HSS Technology and Product Specialist, Great Lakes Region

About the role

The HSS Technology and Product Specialist drives sales of Macmillan Learning products across the Great Lakes region, collaborating with field sales teams and supporting customers post‑sale. The role covers Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and parts of New York, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania.

Key responsibilities

• Identify top opportunities, deliver sales presentations, conduct campus visits and attend conferences.
• Develop relationships with key decision‑makers at VIP accounts and coordinate sales initiatives with regional managers.
• Launch new titles, promote LMS integration and Inclusive Access, and train VIP adopters on technology implementation.
• Provide ongoing technical support for course customization, LMS integration and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of higher‑education publishing experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with sales, editorial and marketing teams.
• Strong presentation skills and technical proficiency in higher‑education sales.

Required skills

• LMS integration and digital courseware implementation.
• Experience with AI‑enhanced learning tools, classroom engagement platforms, and student performance analytics.
