People Project Manager

About the role

The People Project Manager will sit at the core of the People function, driving structure, clarity, and execution across high‑impact HR initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead cross‑functional programs that span HR, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and other teams, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end People projects from problem definition through execution and final recommendations.
• Design and implement detailed project plans, manage timelines, and optimize workflows for transparent delivery.
• Track progress, identify risks early, and apply mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Partner closely with HR, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and leadership to drive alignment and execution.
• Establish and maintain strong project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with standards and internal controls.
• Prepare and deliver high‑quality presentations and materials for senior leadership.
• Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and a culture of experimentation within the People organization.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting.
• At least 2 years of experience within an HR or People function.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity and deliver results with urgency and structure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven decision‑making approach.
• Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Asana, Jira, and Airtable.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
