Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Outpatient & Home Health)

About the role

Children Matter is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide child‑led, strengths‑based therapy in both outpatient and home health settings. The role emphasizes collaborative, neurodiversity‑affirming care alongside speech therapists and fellow OTs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy services for pediatric clients using a child‑led, strengths‑based framework.
• Collaborate regularly with speech therapists and other occupational therapists to support integrated care.
• Build strong, respectful partnerships with families and caregivers.
• Create engaging, flexible therapy sessions that honor each child’s interests, sensory profile, and communication style.
• Participate in team meetings, case collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
• Complete documentation in a timely and professional manner.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Flexible, creative, and eager to learn.
• Commitment to neurodiversity‑affirming, strengths‑based care.
