Pediatric Hematology Oncology RN – Full‑time

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus seeks a Registered Nurse to join the M50 Pediatric Nursing Unit, providing specialized care for children with hematology and oncology conditions, including bone marrow transplant patients. This full‑time position works on a day/night rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
• Develop, monitor, and update individualized patient care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and follow physician and nursing orders.
• Document patient conditions, communicate changes, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) if working in critical care.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience (military experience considered).

Required skills

• RN licensure and clinical competency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (when applicable).
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills.
