PCU Registered Nurse

About the role

AdventHealth Daytona is hiring a full-time PCU (Post-Care Unit) Registered Nurse for its Daytona Beach facility. The position is open to eligible applicants through a virtual hiring event on October 27, and requires a two-year employment commitment. The pay range is $31.85 to $52.76.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reviewing and revising them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and interventions and adjust them to improve patient health.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Associate's degree in nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
