PC Technician – Onsite Support (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a PC Technician to provide onsite IT support for a one‑week temporary assignment in the Greater Orange, NJ area. The role involves setting up workstations, printers and other peripherals across multiple client locations while maintaining accurate asset records.

Key responsibilities

• Travel between assigned sites to install and configure PCs, laptops, monitors, printers and related peripherals.
• Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting on Windows workstations and printers.
• Assist with equipment moves, replacements and installations as needed.
• Capture and maintain an up‑to‑date IT asset inventory.
• Document work performed and escalate complex issues to senior staff.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in desktop support, help‑desk or PC technician roles.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally between sites.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently on short‑term assignments.

Required skills

• PC/workstation setup and configuration.
• Printer installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic Windows hardware and software troubleshooting.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification (preferred).
