IT Field Technician – Temporary Assignment

About the role

Arctiq is seeking a temporary IT Field Technician for a three‑week assignment in Montclair, NJ. The role involves hands‑on hardware support and end‑user assistance across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute and configure Chromebooks for staff and students.
• Troubleshoot Chromebook connectivity issues.
• Set up and maintain smartboard connectivity and configuration.
• Perform password resets for student and staff accounts.
• Provide general Level 1 endpoint and network connectivity support.
• Assist with other light technical issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites in Montclair, NJ.
• Experience supporting Chromebooks.
• Experience with smartboard setup and connectivity.
• Familiarity with basic network and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Experience with user account and password resets (e.g., Active Directory).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
