About the role
Arctiq is seeking a temporary IT Field Technician for a three‑week assignment in Montclair, NJ. The role involves hands‑on hardware support and end‑user assistance across multiple client sites.
Key responsibilities
- Distribute and configure Chromebooks for staff and students.
- Troubleshoot Chromebook connectivity issues.
- Set up and maintain smartboard connectivity and configuration.
- Perform password resets for student and staff accounts.
- Provide general Level 1 endpoint and network connectivity support.
- Assist with other light technical issues as needed.
Required profile
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites in Montclair, NJ.
- Experience supporting Chromebooks.
- Experience with smartboard setup and connectivity.
- Familiarity with basic network and endpoint troubleshooting.
- Experience with user account and password resets (e.g., Active Directory).
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
