Patient Support Nurse

About the role

The Patient Support Nurse role at Valeris focuses on guiding patients through their therapy journey. Working entirely by phone or virtual channels, the nurse provides care coordination, education, and psychosocial support while ensuring patients understand their medication and disease state.

Key responsibilities

• Educate patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers on assigned therapeutic areas and maintain accurate activity records per program.
• Build trust and rapport with patients and providers in a 100% telephonic setting.
• Counsel patients on product use, dosing, device operation, insurance coverage, and financial assistance options.
• Evaluate and contribute to the development of program resources and financial support options.
• Follow program guidelines, escalating complex cases as required.
• Document adverse events and product safety complaints according to SOPs.
• Support healthcare provider offices with prescription‑related questions.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for remote patient and provider interactions.
• Ability to manage and update patient records accurately.
• Knowledge of medication dosing, insurance processes, and financial assistance programs.
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a digital Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
