About the role
The College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University Health Science Center is seeking a Patient Services Associate I to join the Clinical Affairs department. This on‑site position supports patient flow, scheduling, and record‑keeping in a high‑volume academic health environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and check‑in patients, providing courteous front‑desk service.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars.
- Maintain accurate patient records and statistical reports according to established procedures.
- Operate a multi‑line phone system to field calls and direct inquiries.
- Assist with general office duties, including handling paperwork and using standard office equipment.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- At least two years of experience in a general office or customer‑service setting.
- Professional demeanor with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with word‑processing applications.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet applications.
- Experience using a multi‑line telephone system.

- Standard Monday‑Friday schedule, 8 am – 5 pm.
