Patient Representative – Orthopaedics Clinic (Northwest, AR)

About the role

We are seeking a Patient Representative to join the Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Clinic in Northwest Arkansas. The role provides financial counseling, pre‑certification processing and revenue‑cycle support while delivering courteous service to patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, manage walk‑ins, create charts and schedule appointments, surgeries and tests.
• Verify insurance coverage, complete ABNs, obtain authorizations and pre‑certifications, and track referrals.
• Collect payments, issue receipts, reconcile daily deposits and counsel patients on financial obligations.
• Enter and reconcile daily charges, generate denial‑avoidance plans and produce revenue‑cycle reports.
• Maintain accurate patient records, generate reports on cancellations, denials and clinic performance.
• Participate in training, staff meetings and annual competency assessments.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED plus at least four years of experience in customer service, call‑center, billing, registration or scheduling.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, strong written communication and basic computer literacy.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare, or Associate degree with two years of related experience.
