Patient Liaison – Clinical Research Recruiter

About the role

Alcanza Clinical is seeking a Patient Liaison to support onsite patient recruitment for clinical studies. You will guide potential participants through pre‑qualification, screening, and enrollment, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct onsite pre‑screening interviews and evaluate eligibility using medical records and site staff input.
• Manage patient scheduling, rescheduling, and follow‑up communications, including reminder calls.
• Track no‑show and DNQ cases, optimize outreach, and maintain inbound physician referral leads.
• Address barriers to study entry by coordinating transportation assistance and reimbursement programs.
• Update patient status and touch points in Clinical Conductor/CTMS in real time.
• Create targeted call lists based on CTMS criteria to improve outreach efficiency.
• Monitor and report regional recruitment metrics, notifying leadership of any obstacles.
• Participate in community outreach events and represent the company with healthcare referral partners.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare, call‑center, or medical research environments.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial inclusion/exclusion criteria and patient recruitment processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve patient concerns.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CTMS (Clinical Conductor) for patient tracking and data entry.
