Patient Coordinator

About the role

Ivy Rehab is hiring a full-time Patient Coordinator in Cary, North Carolina. Patient Coordinators are described as the backbone of the clinics, working with clinicians and colleagues to deliver excellent patient care and customer service. The clinic provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Schedule appointments
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations
• Collect payments and process new patients
• Help the clinic maintain optimal performance

Required profile

• 2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
• Ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptability and a positive attitude with fluctuating workloads
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and dedicated to patient outcomes and quality of care

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
