Patient Care Coordinator

About the role

Ivy Rehab is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator for its brand-new clinic in Holland, Michigan, working 40 hours per week. Patient Coordinators are described as the backbone of the clinics, working with clinicians and colleagues to deliver patient care and customer service. The clinic provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients
• Schedule appointments
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations
• Collect payments and process new patients
• Help the clinic maintain optimal performance

Required profile

• 2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
• Ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, adaptable to fluctuating workloads, and eager to learn
• Dedication to patient outcomes and quality of care

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
