Passenger Service Agent - Part Time

About the role

Swissport, a global leader in ground handling, cargo handling and passenger services, is hiring a Passenger Service Agent in Las Vegas on a part-time basis. The agent delivers the passenger and customer services contracted by the customer, such as check-in, baggage handling and special assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation and issue boarding passes
• Reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations
• Process passenger baggage, including handling and fee calculation
• Assist passengers through arrival and check-in, including unaccompanied minors, VIPs and passengers needing wheelchair assistance
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration and Quarantine as required
• Make public address announcements and help Ramp Service Agents prepare wheelchairs, strollers and gate-checked bags for loading
• Operate the jet way, computer keyboards and carrier-specific reservation and ticketing software
• Follow security requirements, Swissport SOPs and policies, and produce required documentation

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Relevant work experience and passion for customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication in the country's language; additional languages desirable
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Willingness to work in inclement weather

Required skills

• Ability to type and learn airline-specific reservation and ticketing software
• Ability to follow processes and procedures
