Part‑time Teller

About the role

Northwest is seeking a part‑time teller to join its retail network team in North Tonawanda. The teller will be the primary point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and supporting the branch’s financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, process transactions efficiently, and resolve issues.
• Identify referral opportunities and contribute to the office’s sales performance.
• Balance the teller drawer daily and assist with vault, ATM, and dual‑control procedures.
• Participate in branch meetings, opening/closing tasks, and compliance activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Customer service, cash‑handling, and retail or banking experience (preferred).
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of teller systems and general office software.
• Understanding of security, dual‑control, and compliance procedures.
