Part‑Time Teller

About the role

Northwest is seeking a part‑time teller to join its retail network in Altoona. The teller will be the primary point of contact for customers, delivering a high‑quality service experience in‑person, by phone, and via email.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, process transactions, balance the teller drawer daily, and handle cash, ATM, and vault controls.
• Identify referral opportunities, achieve financial‑wellness activity goals, and contribute to overall sales performance.
• Assist customers with inquiries, resolve problems, and refer complex requests to appropriate team members.
• Participate in branch opening/closing tasks, meetings, and dual‑control procedures while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Customer‑service experience, preferably in banking or retail.
• Cash‑handling experience and basic knowledge of banking products.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and teller‑system computer applications.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for cash handling.
• Effective communication and active‑listening abilities.
