Part‑Time Registered Dietitian for Clinical Research

About the role

Alcanzaclinical is seeking a part‑time Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional assessments, therapy, and counseling for participants in clinical studies. The role supports multi‑site research across a range of therapeutic areas while ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a nutrition subject‑matter expert for study participants.
• Review medical histories and conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and counseling per protocol.
• Collaborate with sponsors and study monitors to address nutrition‑related queries.
• Maintain documentation in line with ALCOA‑C standards and respond to monitor and sponsor queries.
• Complete all required training, certifications, and re‑certifications.
• Participate in company training programs, webinars, and study meetings.
• Uphold confidentiality of subjects, customers, and company information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• 2+ years of clinical nutrition education experience or equivalent.
• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
• Bi‑lingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• BLS certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using electronic health record systems.
• Fast typing speed (40+ wpm).
