About the role

The Nurse Aid Instructor will join North Georgia Technical College to deliver high‑quality clinical education for aspiring nursing aides. This part‑time position blends classroom instruction with hands‑on supervision at clinical sites, ensuring students acquire the skills needed for long‑term care settings.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and educate students during clinical rotations using diverse learning activities.
• Facilitate clinical learning experiences and assess student achievement of learning outcomes.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment in line with course syllabi.
• Deliver instruction through multiple teaching methods and provide all required course materials.
• Utilize technology, including a simulated electronic health record (EHR) system, to enhance learning.
• Maintain accurate student records and adhere to institutional policies.

Required profile

• Diploma in Nursing.
• Georgia nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of long‑term care nursing experience.
• Train‑the‑Trainer certification.
• Preferred: post‑secondary teaching experience or experience with distance/online instruction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) simulation tools.
