Part‑time Maintenance Technician (Darien Commons)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Maintenance Technician to join the Darien Commons community. You will be responsible for keeping the building, grounds and common areas in excellent condition, ensuring safety, appearance and functionality for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests by completing work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment to reduce downtime.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors and completing necessary repairs before new move‑ins.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Assist with routine inspections of amenities, grounds and common areas to ensure they meet Greystar standards.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, safety standards and applicable building codes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to identify the source of defects and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Effective communication with residents, vendors and team members.
