Part‑time Little Kickers Coach (Preschool Football)

About the role

The Coach Little Kickers role is a part‑time, on‑site position in Santa Ana where you will lead structured football classes for pre‑school children, delivering fun, engaging sessions that follow the Little Kickers curriculum and philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structured football classes for pre‑school children following the Little Kickers curriculum.
• Set up equipment, ensure a safe environment and manage class transitions.
• Communicate positively with parents or caregivers before and after sessions.
• Maintain high energy, build rapport with children and uphold safeguarding and inclusivity standards.
• Participate in games and demonstrate activities alongside children.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness for each class.

Required profile

• Experience working with young children in group settings (e.g., coaching, childcare, teaching assistant, camp leader).
• Genuine enthusiasm for early childhood development and interest in football.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and caregivers.
• Ability to maintain a safe, inclusive class environment and follow child safeguarding protocols.
• Reliable time management, punctuality and adherence to curriculum.
• Comfort with active, physical work and being on your feet throughout sessions.
• Availability for regular part‑time hours, including possible weekends or after‑school sessions, on‑site in Santa Ana.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain it; coaching or childcare qualifications are a plus.
