Part‑Time Lecturer – School of Nursing

About the role

The School of Nursing at Northeastern University’s Burlington campus is seeking part‑time lecturers to teach didactic and skills‑lab courses in areas such as Adult Medical/Surgical, Public Community Health, Maternal‑Child/Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health. Appointments are made according to curricular and institutional needs, with start dates in May, July, September, or January.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, course materials, and examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and hold office hours as appropriate.
• Collaborate with lead faculty and follow departmental guidelines.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Minimum two years of relevant professional nursing experience within the past five years.
• Demonstrated competence for teaching responsibilities; prior teaching experience is highly desirable.
