About the role

The Office of Professional Advancement at the University of Miami is seeking part‑time lecturers to teach its Interior Design Certificate Programs online. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction to adult learners and contributing to the growth of the program.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update curriculum and course materials for interior design subjects.
• Deliver engaging online lectures and facilitate student learning.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure alignment with accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Interior Design or a closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the interior design industry.
• At least 5 years of teaching experience at the post‑secondary level.
• Current industry certification from the relevant accreditation body.
• Reliable internet access and ability to teach remotely.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
