About the role

Northeastern University School of Law is seeking part‑time lecturers to develop and teach asynchronous online courses for its graduate MLS and Online LLM programs. Candidates may focus on MLS, LLM, or both, and will engage students through virtual office hours and discussion boards.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and update course content, including case studies, introductory videos, and assignment schedules.
Provide weekly detailed feedback on student assignments and facilitate engagement via announcements and discussion boards.
Hold virtual office hours and video check‑ins to support student learning.
Enter final grades by the registrar’s deadline.

Required profile

Juris Doctor (JD) required; PhD candidates will also be considered.
Strong academic and professional record in the relevant legal field.
Experience in online teaching and course development preferred.
