Part‑Time Leasing Professional – Storehouse Nine

About the role

The Leasing Professional will support the Storehouse Nine community by managing all leasing activities, from prospect outreach to move‑in and lease renewal. This temporary, part‑time position focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Ability to manage the full leasing cycle from prospecting to lease signing and renewal.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in preparation.
• Awareness of local market trends and competitor activity.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with prospects, residents, and internal teams.

Required skills

• Experience with OneSite property management software.
• Experience with Yardi property management software.
• Familiarity with internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
