Part‑time House Manager with Meal Prep Support

About the role

This part‑time position supports a busy family of four in Glen Ellyn, IL. You will manage daily household operations, prepare meals, and handle errands while working 18–23 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 3–5 dinners per week, batch‑cook breakfasts and snacks, and keep the kitchen organized.
• Maintain pantry inventory, run grocery trips (including Costco), and handle miscellaneous errands such as Amazon returns and dry‑cleaning drop‑offs.
• Perform daily tidying, support bi‑weekly cleaning, and manage seasonal clothing swaps and donation drop‑offs.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling, coordinate vendor services, and track home‑maintenance tasks.
• Assist with family logistics, including school pick‑up backup, backpack checks, and travel planning.

Required profile

• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record and authorization to work in the United States.
• Up‑to‑date vaccinations per CDC/AAP guidelines and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already held.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb, navigate stairs regularly, and maintain a smoke‑free environment.
• Proactive, organized, and able to anticipate household needs without a to‑do list.
