Part‑Time House Manager

About the role

This part‑time House Manager will support a busy family of four in Orinda, CA, handling organization, errands, pet care, and occasional entertaining assistance. The role is 12–18 hours per week, primarily Tuesday‑Thursday with flexible evenings as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain practical organizational systems throughout the home and keep high‑traffic areas tidy between cleaning visits.
• Manage laundry, linens, pantry stocking, shopping lists, and coordinate household orders and returns.
• Support dinner parties and at‑home entertaining with kitchen prep, serving flow, and post‑event reset.
• Assist with kids’ activity scheduling, family travel logistics, and calendar maintenance.
• Provide occasional puppy walks, grooming coordination, and pet‑supply management.
• Schedule vehicle maintenance, coordinate vendors, and oversee property areas such as the pool and garden.

Required profile

• Comfortable around children, a large dog and an indoor rabbit; able to maintain a smoke‑free environment.
• Self‑starter who sees what needs to be done, sets priorities, and follows through without detailed daily lists.
• Reliable transportation for errands and occasional family support; authorized to work in the United States.
