About the role

The School of Humanities, Arts, and Cultural Studies seeks part‑time Faculty Associates to teach IAS 300, Career Strategies and Personal Resilience, for one semester on the West Valley campus. The role focuses on delivering existing course material and providing a strong instructor presence to support students throughout their university journey.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver weekly lectures and facilitate discussions for IAS 300.
• Maintain an active instructor presence and respond to student inquiries.
• Personalize the pre‑prepared syllabus and lesson materials with your contact information.
• Assess student work, provide feedback, and record grades.
• Collaborate with the department to ensure course objectives are met.

Required profile

• Eligibility for a part‑time, non‑benefits‑eligible, fixed‑term appointment (up to 0.40 FTE per semester).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate undergraduate students.
