Parts Specialist

About the role

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Parts Specialist for its store in Coos Bay, Oregon. The role keeps the front sales floor and showroom stocked, neat and inviting, handles sales preparation and greets customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor, help them find merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist for hard-to-find parts.
• Check in, price and put up stock, keeping the display floor full and well presented.
• Assist with O'Reilly Image Maker tasks daily, change displays per company guidelines, update planograms, change price labels and set up sale signs.
• Remove sale material when a sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Help with stock adjustments, cycle counts and overstock returns, and work with the manager on weekly inventory and merchandising.
• Occasionally act as cashier or drive a delivery vehicle (driving record must meet company requirements).

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Desired: previous stocking experience, ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
