Parts Clerk Line - OMA

About the role

SkyWest Airlines, the largest independently owned regional airline, is hiring a Parts Clerk in Omaha, Nebraska. The role keeps parts inventory on hand to support the mechanics, in a deadline-driven environment focused on operational safety and customer service. No prior experience is needed.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain parts inventory and run warehouse/stockroom cycle counts
• Use the internal computer program to issue, return and process parts and tooling from stock
• Drive the company vehicle to airport gates for COMAT/AOG and road trips
• Verify, pull and prepare shipments and receipts
• Data entry, including emails, inventory counts and requisitions
• Operate a forklift to load and unload shipments
• Sweep, mop and keep the warehouse and stockrooms organized
• Other duties assigned by the manager

Required profile

• 18 years or older
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license
• High school diploma or GED
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to lift 75 pounds routinely; flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and solve problems

Required skills

• Forklift operation
• Knowledge of airline parts preferred but not required
• Computer knowledge helpful
